As the weather starts to cool down my thoughts always turn to moisture. Like many others my skin dries up and can become irritated and uncomfortable during the Autumn and Winter months.

I stock up on all sorts of moisturizers to keep my skin feeling fresh and smooth and to ward off the dreaded scaly look.

Jergens is a brand that you may not of heard of but its very well known in the US. The brand is well known for their nourishing and affordable body and face products.

Ive been trialing a few products from the range, as some were sent to me for my consideration and another I bought for myself.

The Jergens Daily Moisture lotion ($5.99) is a great light lotion that is perfect for after a shower or to refresh dry legs.

I found the lotion to be really easily absorbed, non sticky and with a pleasant scent. I have on a few occasions used the lotion as a shaving medium and found it left my legs feeling amazing. Its surprisingly light for a cream that is so moisturising and designed for dry skin.

The hand and nail cream ($5.99) was equally as hydrating and i was relieved to find tat it didnt leave a slippery or oily film on my hands while still leaving them feeling soft and supple.

The standout product for me however, was the Jergens BB body perfecting skin cream ($14.99). This silky, slightly tinted cream had the feel of a lotion combined with a primer and went on super smoothly to hide any signs of dryness and lessen appearance of imperfections.

While it looks heavily tinted when squeezed out of the tube when rubbed into the skin it is fairly translusccent and does not stain clothes once it has been absorbed and dried. It has a pleasant  scent and is not oily or uncomfortable in any way. Skin is left feeling “naked” but looking better than before.
