Rosehip PLUS

Rosehip oil has long been associated with skincare. Its moisturising and repairing properties have made it one of the more popular natural ingredients in moisturisers. Its full of fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins. There are a range of options at lots of pricepoints available and I have been trialling out a brand which focuses on organic rosehip oil; Rosehip PLUS.

Rosehip PLUS is an Australian company which makes exclusively Rosehip based products. Their certified organic oil is sourced from Chile and has been processed by cold pressing the Rosehip berry (the fruit of the rose plant) before purifying and using to create super hydrating lotions and potions.

In its purest form Rosehip oil can be used alone as a dry skin moisturiser or used to help reduce the severity of the appearance of scars but it can also be used as a serum type product to boost the performance of your existing skincare products, especially when your skin is feeling especially dehydrated.

Apart from the pure Rosehip oil (available in 30 and 50ml dropper bottles) from Rosehip PLUS they also make a range of skincare designed to help the appearance of ageing and dryness.

The Rosehip PLUS Hydrating Day Cream ($19.95) is a lovely smooth moisturiser which works well to hydrate the skin throughout the day alone or under makeup. It doesnt shift or ball up and creates a smooth base that feels smooth long after applying.

The Nourishing Night Cream  ($29.95) is a little richer (and I love the pump pack) and slightly thicker and is designed to replenish the skin with essential fatty acids while you sleep.

Rosehip PLUS products can be purchased online and at Chemist Warehouse.
