Mascara Madness feat.. Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara
Welcome back to Mascara Madness week here on Lipstick and Linguine! Today we are looking at the newest addition to the Falsies family from Maybelline New York, Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes mascara. In reality this is two mascaras in one, one for the top lashes and one for the bottom lashes.
I purchased this a little while ago and have been using it every now and then.
The top lashes brush is sort of a spiral shape and is designed to grab the top lashes |
The top lash mascara is a good, standard formula while the brush is sort of curvy and a spiral shape. While I don’t dislike it I wasn’t blown away by any aspect of the product. Its a good volumising and lengthening product which doesn’t smudge or flake.
Look how happy this shopping woman is that she picked this up while at Priceline. |
The true gem of this product however, is the bottom lash wand and formula. The slim line wand is small enough to catch all those bottom lashes and cover them in the dryer type formula of mascara. The dryer formula means that there is less risk of slipping or smudging and ruining the rest of your makeup while it is still wet.
I havnt experienced much transfer or smudging under the eyes when using this and have experienced no flaking at all.
I would definitely pick this up again if only for that teeny tiny little brush.
See y’all tomorrow… I wonder what sort of mascara will be reviewed!!
