Decided to take advantage of the big w beauty sale that is coinciding with Mother’s Day. While picking up a few things for my mum I decided to get a couple of things for myself. 

Here is a quick rundown!

1. Sinful Colors nail polish in Blue by you and savage 

These are my first ever sinful colors nail polishes. There were so many colours to choose from but i decided on these two blues.

Savage is a matte teal blue/green and applies very nicely, one coat is opaque.

Blue by you is a super sparkly cobalt blue that is fairly sheer on the first coat but is opaque by two coats. I’m not sure about wear time as I only just painted to swatch the colours but look forward to using these for a great nail tutorial.

Both polishes were $4 each.

2. Max Factor Excess Volume mascara 

These super chunky tube contains two different mascaras in one. Each is a different formula and has a different brush. The side which is designed to give extreme volume has a silicone style wand that reminds me of the best selling Benefit mascara but has even more bristles. The other side labelled “dark lacquer” seems to be a slightly thinner formula and has a traditional style wand. 

Together they produce a super black and dramatic look. Full review with pictures to come.

3. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Primer

Bought this on a whim as I love trying new things and I’m glad I did because I’m really liking the formula, it’s silky smooth and has “blurring” technology which gives a smoother base for your makeup.
