There is nothing like the smell of a fresh MAC lipstick. One of the world’s best selling cosmetic items; their lipsticks comes in endless shades and finishes. The iconic black bullets are covetted by makeup lovers and artists around the world.

Ive collected quite a few shades over the years and have always been impressed with the formula regardless of whether the shades were part of a limited edition collection or part of the permanent offerings.

My current favourite MAC lipstick shades are made up on a range of brights and a single neutral. From the Kylie Jenner-esque Mehr to last years radiant orchid inspired Up The Amp and the ever changing Rebel there is something for everyone in my picks.

Ive chosen only shades from the permanent collection, although another of my favourites came from the Osbourne collection a few years ago.

The Amplified formula seems to be my favourite of the whole collection followed by the mattes and satins.
