Boo! We are at the end of our holiday and I thought I would share a quick little post with you to highlight the travel friendly beauty bits and pieces that have worked well for me. This list is by no means comprehensive (although I have been very good at not over packing my beauty supplies) but just a few of the things that I have really appreciated along the way.

Nail Polish Remover Pads like these ones from Manicare were a life saver. Im a little OCD about chipped nailpolist. It irks me.. and if it starts chipping I know Im going to pick at it and ultimately damage my nails. These little pads are perfect for travel as the sturdy packaging and fairly dry pads prevents any nightmarish leaking of nail polish remover in luggage as well as complying with airport security regulations.

I packed lots of the little deluxe samples that come as GWP kits or product minis (available to purchase to try products) so that I could bring all my faves with me without the bulk. Some of the bits and bobs Ive enjoyed the most include;

Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil (especially good for my slight sunburn)

Josie Maran Mini Coconut Watercolour Cheek Gelee

There were some makeup items that were so compact they were perfect for travel including the Nudestix  eye pencils which could be used for a sheer wash of colour over the entire lid or used to line or smoke out the eyes.

The big space saver for me though was bringing with lots and lots of sachet samples of skincare products. I dont know about you but i had trays and trays of samples that came with online orders that I always meant to use up but just sat in the drawers forgotten. There are usually at least two applications in each sachet and it was super easy to pack them and dispose of the packets once they were used!

Sigh. As you read this we are starting to pack our bags and getting ready for checking out tomorrow after what has been an amazing vacation!
