MaxFactor Masterpiece Transform Mascara
Described as a “High Impact Volumising Mascara” Max Factors new Masterpiece Transform Mascara promises big things. Without any delay Im going to let you know that this is one of the best mascaras i have ever tried.
Some gratuitous creepy eye shots for you. You’re welcome! |
Upon pulling the wand out of the tube you will see that it is strange, very strange infact. The bristles on the rubberised brush range from small to barely existent. The wand is exceptionally flexible and slimline. My first impression was that this brush was going to be completely underwhelming as the sparse and short bristles looked hardly substantial enough to grip my short and straight lashes.
I. was. wrong.
The shorter bristles on the wand meant that i was able to get exceptionally close to the lash line to deposit plenty of product at the base of the lashes without the fear of poking a bristle into my eyeball. Getting so close to the lash line helped to lift the lashes from the base, creating a longer, curlier looking lash.
One of the things that i found was most impressive with the brush is that the slimline nature meant that you could easily go behind the lashes to apply product to the top side of the lash as well as the bottom side of the eyelashes.
The brush and the results i achieved reminded me a lot of one of my HG mascaras Cliniques high lengths mascara in that the bristles acted a lot like a lash comb rather than the traditional spoolie.
The formula is good, it did not smudge or smear on my oily lids. There was no flaking under my eyes and it lasted well into the night before i removed it with the normal amount of effort.
have you tried this mascara?
Until next time makeup fiends!
This product was sent to me for my consideration however, as usual this did not affect my opinion.
