Weleda Pomegranate firming day and night cream

I love a good bargain! And for a limited time Weleda skincare has a couple of good deals happening with their products including this two for one deal on the Pomegranate skincare range (July 2014)
Regardless of this current deal here are my thoughts on these products.
First of all I need to say what all product reviewers and beauty bloggers know. Reviewing skin care is a little more difficult than makeup items, simply because skincare often takes time to show it’s true benefits and well, these sort of products work differently on everyone.
I can only tell you my experiences with the product.
First let me tell you that when I try a new product out and I don’t like it, it often gets passed onto relatives or a friend.. Only the products I really want to keep using make it into my personal skincare collection.. And well ..this has made the cut.
I love the small handy and very portable size of these products and the simple no fuss packaging. These were the first bits of skincare I popped into my overnight bag last weekend.
The products themselves feel so nourishing. Much like most of the weleda products I have tried, the day and night cream are super rich and creamy. I was a little worried that they would be greasy on the skin but was pleased to find that they easily absorbed and left my skin feeling fresh and supple.
I’m not sure that this heavier style of cream is for everyone and perhaps not as suitable for the super hot summer months but for me, during this winter it has been pure perfection.
The night cream in particular has made any of my dry, flaky spots feel more comfortable and look better.
The heavier style of day cream has made my skin look super Dewey and prepared for my makeup.
This pomegranate line is designed for mature skin and claims to firm the skin. I can’t confirm any of those claims yet as it’s only been a couple of weeks. But I will definately keep using it.
I very strongly recommend this product for those of you who have skin that is suffering through these winter months, this has been my go to moisteriser since I recieved them as it’s super creamy formula has been a bit of a god send on my dry winter skin.
This product was kindly provided to me for my consideration but as usual this did not influence this review. If I didn’t like it.. I wouldn’t be writing about it.
