February Monthly round up.
Good bye February! Good bye Summer! Here is a round up of my month!
Full time work resumed and Im glad that I was able to plan ahead during my vacation time so that I had lots of content ready to go in the first few weeks when things were chaotic.
I went to a couple fun events this month including the L’Oreal Beauty For All showcase as well as the Priceline Beauty Prescription Live, both events were large scale showings of all the products coming to stores soon. Unfortunately there were a few major events I was unable to go to because of those darned adult responsibilities, the most notable was the Sephora showcase, I head the event was fabulous and that the vast array of products coming to Sephora in the next few months is awesome!
Here are some of the things I loved this month. You can see lots more detail in the video below
My lips were treated well throughout the month with the aide of the Lip Sleeping Mask. The thick balm did a great job of staying put through out the night to help keep lips soft and rosey looking. Moving into winter I think I will be getting a lot of use out of this.
If you saw my MAC blog post and video earlier in the month you will have seen that I tried out some new base products. One of the products that really impressed me was the Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder* which has been helping me set my face while avoiding cakiness. I also fell in love with one of MACs best selling powder blushes in Warm Soul.
You havnt heard much from me regarding this foundation yet, but I absolutely fell in love with the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear foundation. The foundation looks lovely on my skin, wears well throughout the day and does not transfer. A lot of other foundations get tonnes of praise for much less.
A lip colour that has seriously impressed me is XO Vlada* from Smashbox, the bronzey metallic shade looks surprisingly wearable for every day. I never thought I would be recommending a metallic liquid lipstick to women over the age of thirty however this one really surprised me.
Find out a whole lot more about my favourites as well as see some of my “unfavourites” this month in the video below.
Please note that products marked with an asterisk have been provided as PR samples.
