The L’Oreal Infallible Matte FX Lip Colours are like nothing Ive ever used before. While lipsticks, glosses and balms are the usual delivery method for lip colour the L’Oreal Infallible Matte FX Lip Colours are a powder lip colour!

L’Oreal says

What you get is a pressed soft powder contained in the coloured lid of the product with a spring loaded sponge applicator which picks up colour as you open the package. If you have ever used the Maybelline Brow Satin then you may be familiar with the format.

The result of this innovative product? Six Smooth, matte lip colours which are long lasting and easily blendable to create ombre lips. A quick swatch gives good payoff but are not fully opaque but can be built up.

The lip shadows feel silky on the lips and did not dry out my lips at all. They remained blendable for quite a while before setting nicely. I was gifted five of the six shades and have enjoyed playing with this new and different formula.
