Pink Holiday Lipstick

Hi beauties!

Finding your perfect pink to slather over your pout is one of every lipstick lovers goals. From bright, bold shades perfect for a big night out or soft, flattering pinks for a romantic bridal look most women will have at least one pink lipstick in their stash.

Imagine if there was a brand that was as obsessed as we are about finding the perfect “my lips but better” shade.

Well, let me introduce you to Pink Holiday. Pink Holiday do pink lipstick and they do it well. Infact, they do it so well thats pretty much the only shade they do!

I was recently introduced to the brand at the recent launch of the new Australian cosmetics store Lulu & Lipstick. Owner Fleur was so excited to be bringing this New York based brand to Australia and as soon as i saw the gorgeous gold and shiny tubes i was in love and knew I had to show you all.

Nine romantic and cheekily named shades are available and i was super lucky to be offered three pretty shades to show you.

Those who regularly read the blog or follow me on Instagram will know that I’m a big fan of the statement lip. A nude lip is just not something that i “rock” very often. To me a pink nude was a pink nude but after trialling these three shades i noticed such a difference between these shades despite them looking so similar in the tube.

After playing with these for a week or so i’ve really gained a new appreciation for nude and soft pink lips. I really think these lipsticks would be perfect for the bride-to-be amongst your family and friends. The packaging is so lovely that it would make for some gorgeous photographs and would be a lovely moment for the bride to keep once the big day is done.

Here are my thoughts and swatches of the Pink Holiday Luxury Cream Lipsticks.

The first thing you will noticed about the product is the gorgeous ultra luxe gold tube which stands out like a shiny beacon from the bottom of a dark and cluttered handbag, The packaging while lightweight and minimal in its structure does a good job of keeping the lipstick closed while looking super pretty.

The lipsticks have a sweet, vanilla scent which is reminiscent of MAC lipstick.

The shades are all named with cheeky and romantic titles such as Forever my darling, Weekend in Como and love in Portofino. The lipsticks i received are manufactured in the USA.

The shades i received were:

Bride to be

Bride to be is a soft baby pink. It is lighter than Sunday Brunch and a little brighter as well. It also contains a touch of silvery shimmer which give the lips a lovely sheen.

Weekend in Como

Weekend in Como is described as nude pink and it is certainly more muted and more “nude” than the other two shades i was sent. This was also the creamiest lipstick that felt the most luxurious on the lips and contains no shimmer whatsoever.

Sunday Brunch

Sunday Brunch is described as a light berry pink.  Its a light to mid toned pink, it’s quite sheer but can be built up to complete cover on the lips with a slight silvery shimmer.

Top to bottom  Bride to be, Weekend in Como, Sunday Brunch

All three shades are super wearable and lasted a good three to four hours on the lips.

Thanks to Lulu & Lipstick for providing these to me for my consideration.

Beautiful colours and packaging! I'm defiantly a sucker for a nude/pink lip and gold packaging. Cannot wait to get my hands on some of these :)
