NaiMania – OPI Gwen Stefani Holiday collection
Hey there!Nailmania is coming to a close and i thought i would finish up by showing you one of my favourite collections from the past twelve months. Im talking about the OPI Gwen Stefani Holiday collection. You will have seen in my Christmas wishlist that i was seriously lusting after all of them but i was restrained in my purchases and was also sent a couple to swatch so have a small collection to show you.
Rollin in cashmere
Rolling in Cashmere is a bright smooth gold. Its the gold equivalent of the newly released silver My silk tie from the Fifty Shades of Grey collection that I’ve swatched here. This applies like a dream its so smooth and reflective without being sparkly or glittery.

I’ll tinsel you in
Ill tinsel you in is one of the great topcoats of the collection. Its a glitter without being a glitter if you know what i mean. It contains lots of different shapes of glitter in different sizes in both black and white.
Its a great effect to a manicure and would look great over a strong colour.

Comet in the sky
If you have been following the series you will have seen Comet in the sky featured a few times now. Its a gorgeous top coat that looks amazing over black or grey polish. There are lots of hex glitters in shifting holo colours as well as black specks. See more about this polish here
Unfrost my heart
Unfrost my heart is a gorgeous silver that looks sort of frosty. It reminds me of ripens used to wrap gifts in that its sort of textured, not a basic glitter or a shimmer. One coat gives a nice wash of silver and two coats is opaque and gleaming.. Thats the word i was looking for .. it gleams rather than sparkles.

So elegant
So elegant is similar to Comet in the sky in that it looks quite dark in the bottle but contains silver and blue hex glitters of different sizes rather than holo glitter. This one gives a smattering of particles all over the nail that made me feel like i had 101 dalmatian nails!

Snow globetrotter
Snow Globe trotter was basically impossible to photograph nicely because it contains such bright white glitter particles and is quite subtle on the nails.
Snow Globe trotter is the preferred top coat of the stars of Frozen ( i totally made that up) It looks like a snowstorm on your nails and this is one that i actually preferred on its own rather on top of other polished. It contains lots of tiny, small and larger pieces of glitter in hex and round shapes. A lot of the glitter is white but there is also some holo glitter in there as well.

Most of these shades are still available at places like Myer and David Jones and retail for $19.95. Ive loved both of the OPI Gwen Stefani collaborations and can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
And this hereby concludes NailMania on Lipstick ‘n’ Linguine. Its been a ride and a half and my nails and cuticles now need some intensive therapy. Thanks for dropping by and i hope you enjoyed seeing some new polishes and the couple of nail looks i did for you.
Stay tuned in the next couple of weeks ill be posting a Valentines nail look!
