I just couldn’t resist purchasing some of the super luxe Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood lips from Cult Beauty when I saw them a little while ago. Im a big fan of the lust worthy lipsticks and have enjoyed so many of Ms Tilbury’s makeup items so I was so super excited to try them. So ka-ching! I picked up two shades; Rising Star and Dolly Bird, which looked quite different in swatches online but turned out to be quite similar in person. Both are mid tones dusty pinks, with one being slightly warmer and more peachy than the other.

The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood lips come in simple packaging featuring the pretty metallic detailing that all of the brands products feature. They feature a special applicator which Charlotte Tilbury describes in the following way

 The ingenious crescent-shaped applicator is designed to mimic the natural curve of your lips, with a rigid core to prevent smudging and a thin tip for lining, letting you achieve a flawless finish in a flash

As it turns out the applicator is actually one element of the product that I didnt actually like. I found that the wand tended to take off some of the lipstick along the lip line.
