November Favourites

I’m not going to lie, November was all about the luxury for me. I focussed  a lot on those higher end brands over here on the blog. One of the best parts of riding this blogger wave is getting access (sometimes early) to a whole bunch of brands and products that you might not usually. However, I still do love my drugstore goodies and it really is true that sometimes price doesn’t always reflect quality (but sometimes it really really does!

Here are some of the products Ive been loving over November!

tarte and marc

Tarte 12 hour Amazonian Clay Blush – Exposed

Beauty lovers have been raving about this shade for so long and I didnt really understand the hype, However I recently purchased this from Sephora.com.au  and now know what the fuss is about. While the shade looks super pale and subtle in the pan the shade gives a beautifully understated rosey quality to cheeks.

sally hansen green

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure – Pardon My Garden.

Pardon My Garden is my newest favourite mint green shade. The Sally Hansen formula is, as usual, faultless and the signature wide and curve tipped brush helps to achieve a clean, crisp edge near the cuticle. You can see the full collection swatched here

hope in a jar

Philosophy Hope In a Jar Dry

Philosophy do great skin care and their renewed hope in a jar dry is no exception. This thick and rich moisturiser is best used at night to give you refreshed feeling skin in the morning. Personally I found that this balled up with certain primers so avoided using it in the morning preferring to slather it all over my face, neck and chest just before bed.

itcosmetics palette

ItCosmetics Naturally Pretty Romantics

You will see more on this palette in coming weeks but for now you should know that I am loving the soft matte shades to create subtle and pretty eye looks perfect for day.

jeffree star close up

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick

Its taken me a while to jump on the Jeffree Star bandwagon but Im glad I finally did! The Velour Liquid Lipsticks are gorgeous! Super pigmented, smooth and long lasting. Ive got the limited edition holiday shades Androgyny (soon to be part of the permanent collection) and Doll parts, both are on the super on trend mauve spectrum. These go on smoothly and then dry to a velour matte finish.

urban decay all nighter spray

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

November has been a scorcher for Sydney and Ive tried every spray on the market to try and keep my face from melting off. This cult favourite from Urban Decay does a great job at keeping makeup locked in place and looking fresher for longer.

And thats a condensed list of the new (and old) bits and pieces that Ive been loving lately!

Lovely faves! I absolutely love the Philosophy moisturiser as well. I love the chemical exfoliants included in it, makes my skin feel so smooth and hydrated! I've also been loving the All Nighter spray - so good for this hot humid weather!

Lovely favourites! I also have the Tarte blush in my November favourites but in the shade Fearless. I'm tempted to pick up Exposed in my next Sephora order.

I love philosophy too! I use the miracle cleanser every night. I'll have to try the dry hope too!

This is a great roundup of products! Those Jeffree Star lipsticks have been popping up everywhere, and the two shades you picked up would probably be the ones I'd snag up as well! I've been loving the Kat Von D Lolita II liquid lipstick that I got in her duo set, and I'm still riding the highlighting wagon - can't get enough haha.

Great tip on the moisturiser! It's next on my list to use. Sounds great for night time though. Can't wait to use it! <3

Love your picks Rosa! Tarte Exposed has to be in my top 5 favourite blushes ever - so gorgeous! That IT Cosmetics eye shadow palette looks beautiful; besides the CC cream which I love I haven't tried much from the brand, so definitely need to check it out once Sephora put more stuff online. xx
