Spring flush. Perfect blushes from Tarte!

Spring is here! And to celebrate I treated myself to two new spring hued blushes from Tarte! Tarte was one of those brands I was so looking forward to being able to purchase from Sephora in Australia. I had previously bought one of the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour blushes and really enjoyed how long wearing and pretty they were on the skin. They’re packaged in the cutest little found compact that is colour matched to the shade inside (so helpful when you have a larger collection)

I picked up the following shades for Spring;

Blissful is a deep, warm, peachy pink, it leans a little towards a coral but definitely has a lot of peach in it. Its completely matte and looks beautiful worn alone or with a highlight.

Glisten is spring in a pan! Its the shade that Tinkerbell would wear if she was totally into blush. Glisten is in the same colour family as Blissful however it contains a generous amount of golden shimmer. The amount of shimmer is a little scary in the pan but is beautiful on the skin and gives a lovely warm sheen to the cheeks. Without the gold shimmer the shade would look a lot more pink however the shade ends up being a soft, beautiful coral with golden highlights. Its similar to NARS orgasm except its more shimmery but the particles look a little smaller to me.

Glisten and Blissful

In my experience the blushes wear well throughout the day and last without reapplying until I decide to take my  makeup with minimal fading. In the pan the powders are pretty soft and do tend to kick up a little bit so a light hand is recommended are pretty smooth and pigmented and rarely have I experienced chalkiness with the finish. tarte swatch 2

I love Tarte blushes! These are lovely. I have been reaching for Captivating a lot more now that it's Spring - it's a matte peach, so pretty.

Blissful looks so pretty!!!!!!!!!! I own the Tarte blush palette so I can't really justify any single blush purchases but these two are stunning and I really love the packaging, it's so travel-friendly.

I love the Tarte blushes! Blissful is one of my favourites, a bit easier to wear than Tipsy.
